A limited edition bar soap. Northwoods was the result of a challenge from my husband to make something 100% plant based that he could take backpacking. Challenge accepted. Like all my soaps, the oils and butters here are all plant based. However, instead of cosmetic mica, this bar is colored with natural indigo powder and a dusting of activated charcoal.** The scent is a combination of anise essential oil and spearmint essential oil. The anise gives it a black licorice scent while the spearmint is sweet and minty. They're absolutely lovely together. I know some folks don’t like licorice but these two scents together make some kind of magic. It’s slightly sweet, slightly minty, and very clean and fresh.
