- Free pick up is always an option for people living near Decatur.
During hot weather, we limit shipping days for orders with candles to Monday-Wednesday. This helps avoid your candle from spending the weekend in a hot truck.
We have updated our shipping policies and want to be completely transparent.
Nearly every year USPS and UPS raise their rates. I do my best to keep shipping rates as low as possible but, nonetheless, there are many times where shipping costs exceed what customers pay. In other words, despite having access to commercial shipping rates, I still lose money on shipping.
In order to offset these increasing costs, I have modified shipping rates to three "tiers" as mentioned above. Orders up to $35 ship for $7.99 and orders between $35 and $99 ship for $9.99. Orders $99 and above ship free. No business likes to increase costs and we hope you'll understand. We still offer free pickup for folks who are local to the Atlanta area and wish to drive to Decatur.
We understand there have been issues with USPS and we feel your pain. Up until now (knock on wood), we haven't had problems with orders taking much longer than 4 business days to reach their destination.
Currently, I can only ship to the United States. Contact me if you would like to order from Canada and I will calculate a rate. I can ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses but it will take longer to arrive.
Free, local pick up in Decatur GA is always available; use the PICKUP option at checkout. Please indicate when you would like to pick up your order. If you are unable to get to Decatur, please choose to have your product shipped.
We want you to love everything about your order. Please reach out to us right away if you are unhappy. Keep in mind, variations in color and design may occur because our products are handmade in small batches. We are unable to refund or exchange a product because they are not to your taste.
If there is damage or a defect, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right.
